Quick start: on the site, click on QR Codes up top.
Use Tagify to create and manage your very own QR codes! Then use the generated QR code on your tags/signs and your customers simply use their phones camera to scan your code. Then you decide what happens next:
Redirect them to any website. Maybe your company site, Twitter account, a sign up page, etc.
Collect data from a custom form you build. Get their names, emails, phone #'s, really any data you want. Then use that data for giveaways, surveys, prizes, etc. Very similar to the old Text2Win feature but much easier for your customers to get involved.
You then can monitor your codes activity and export the data out. It's really up to you what you want your QR code to do.
On top of all that, you can change how your code works at anytime. Need to do a redirect one day but do a collect the next? Doesn't matter as your QR code itself remains exactly the same but your changes are always up to date.
Example #1: Redirect
Let's see how this actually works, try scanning this with your phone:
After you scan it, you're automatically redirected to Tagify's Twitter page. I can then check the Scans for that code right on the site:
Maybe I'm putting this on my signs for a certain chain? Monitoring the amount of scans I get gives me an idea of how impactful my signs with QR codes are. Maybe I'm not getting much activity? I could then revisit my physical placing of the POS in the store or perhaps take another design approach on the signs itself. That's just one scenario, but you get the idea.
Example #2: Collect
Now let's see the bread & butter of QR codes: gathering data. Let's say we've got a grill giveaway and I want to get a name and an email. Scan this:
You'll be sent to a special website built just for this QR code. First you'll see the "Welcome" screen:
Punch in some data, hit Submit and then you'll get the "Finish" screen:
All the text you see is customizable by you. Tagify will even use your company logo (if you've got one uploaded). Now let's check out the Scans for our QR code:
Pretty nice! I can monitor these in real time and export them all to an Excel sheet as well.
Some security notes
Tagify will automatically remove duplicate data and shut down anyone trying to "bomb" your form with submissions.
